Born in June of 1975, I lived almost all my life in the city of Kontich. Throughout my youth it became clear that I was developing a creative / artistic side and that sitting still in a sofa wasn't meant for me. I've always been busy, if it wasn't with work, IT or basketball, then probably it was another hobby or interest I developed.

Having developed a passion for photography throughout the last 10 years and receiving the offer to take pictures at a few events, it was soon obvious this passion would develop further.

A few years ago I started as event photographer for the website Glitterati, a website mostly focused on nightlife, fashion, entertainment. This diversity of shoots, events, surroundings improved my photography drastically and helped me to deliver quality photos time and time again.

After a while I got the demand from people and firms to take photos for them, so it was obvious I would start my own photography business.

Having received Morty as a nickname several years ago, it was easy to find a name which people would remember or link someone too... and so my business was born.

Besides event photography and nightlife, I love to take the camera outside and shoot other things, just to improve other aspects of photography I'm not familiar with. It just makes you better all round.

I've also started the planning of my own studio and looking forward on developing that side of photography too.

Several years later... and still not sitting quietly in a sofa. Well sometimes though... to go through the pictures I took.
